In the Dream House By Carmen Maria Machado

This is a beautifully written memoir about relationship abuse, told through horror tropes. You can really get into the mind of the author.

House of Hollow by Krystal Sutherland

This is a morbidly mystical story of three sisters all connected through their disappearance 10 years ago.

Gory Details: Adventures from the Dark Side of Science

By Erika Engelhaupt

This was a really cool non-fiction book about weird and gross things. I loved learning about the bugs in my pores!

We Have Always Lived in the Castle By Shirley Jackson

This is a short gothic novel with unusual characters.

Last Night at the Telegraph Club By Melinda Lo

This queer historical fiction made me cry.

When We Lost Our Heads By Heather O'Neil

A weird book about the French Revolution but set in Canada and queer. It was confusing but pretty.
