Summer Safari: Books Set in Summer Recommendations
2022 Summer Reading Program

Join us for a wild adventure as we explore the world of animals!
Our Summer Safari is an 8-week program running from June 17th to August 13th.
We have a fun summer planned full of special programs, STEAM activities, take-and-make crafts, Lego challenges, a library Safari Rescue Mission, and more!
Our Summer Reading Program is open to all ages! We have two different versions of the program available - one for kids 12 and under and one for teens/adults.
How it Works
We like to keep our summer reading program pretty simple - just read books and complete fun activities to earn tickets that you can enter for a chance to win the prize of your choice. How much you want to participate is up to you. You can keep things low-key and just read books of your choosing all summer, or you can challenge yourself to complete the activities and reading challenges provided on the tracker form. Every time you complete a book or activity, you will earn one ticket that you can enter into our prize drawings. Tracker forms are available at the library or can be downloaded here:

How to Participate
There are two ways you can participate in the summer reading program - on paper or virtually. If you'd like to use a paper tracker form, you can either pick up a form at the library or print one from our website. If you'd like a paperless option, you can participate virtually through the website Beanstack.
