Library Friends Nationwide
 

For more than 200 years, Friends groups nationwide have served as connecting links between libraries and their communities. Maine has dozens of Friends groups and an active state organization, Friends of Maine Libraries. The Friends of the Berwick Public Library is a member of FOML.
 

At a national level, Friends of Libraries, USA and the Association for Library Trustees and Advocates recently combined to form a new expanded division of the American Library Association.

Volunteers 16 and up are welcome. Please inquire at the circulation desk for more information and to fill out a volunteer application. BPL does not participate in court ordered or disciplinary community service.
