Prevention Power: Building Resilient Youth
Program Manager Laura Cashell (Choose To Be Healthy & Youth Resiliency Coalitions, Community Health at York Hospital) visited the library to share practical ways families and trusted adults can support youth. Topics included recognizing stress and mental health warning signs, reducing stigma, understanding risk and protective factors, and encouraging positive childhood experiences that build resilience.
