Author Edith Netter visited the library at the end of May to discuss her new book, The House at Schumannstrasse 7: A Holocaust Survivor’s Story, told in the voice of her grandmother, Alice. The book follows a German Jewish family through two world wars, the rise of Nazism, Kristallnacht, and the efforts that eventually allowed family members to escape Nazi Europe.
