Friday, April 20th at 10:30am - Stuffed Animal Sleepover Storytime
Bring your favorite stuffed animal into the library for this special event! We will be reading books about Maine animals, singing songs about them (and their scat!) and celebrating the diversity of nature in our area. The stuffed animals are invited to sleepover at the library and take part in some special after hour activities. Photos will be taken and shared with the owners, who will be able to come and pick up their animals on Saturday, April 21st. Owners may come as early as 10:00 a.m., just in time to read to Belichick the Reader Dog and stay for the special program from the Center for Wildlife at 11:00am!
Saturday, April 21st from 10am to 11am - Belichick the Reader Dog
Belichick the Reader Dog will be at the Berwick Public Library for children to come in and visit with! Saturday, April 21st at 11am - The Center for Wildlife Presents - Raptors, Reptiles and Mammals!
The Center for Wildlife will present their very special line up of animal, reptile, and bird ambassadors at the Berwick Public Library! Focusing on animals that live in Maine, the Center for Wildlife will provide an in-depth introduction to the unique differences between raptors, reptiles, and mammals. Do snakes have fur? Do rabbits have scales? Are birds "cold-blooded"? Why do opossums have pouches? How do each of these animal groups adapt to our changing seasons? Using live animals and interactive displays, the answers to these and other questions will be revealed.
