Author Talk with Ross Alan Bachelder

Ross Alan Bachelder visited the library in December to talk about his memoir, Growing Up Blue-Collar: An Uncertain Beginning. Ross grew up in a world of work boots, layaway shopping, and silent ambition. He wrestled with the feeling of being “too curious” for his surroundings and “too different” to fit in. Through art, intellect, and grit, he carved a path that defied expectations but never forgot where he came from.
