Maine Through Our Eyes Art & Photo Contest

To celebrate Maine’s 200th birthday, we are having a “Maine Through Our Eyes” art and photography contest. This contest will run from June 30th to August 8th and gives you an opportunity to show various aspects of Maine life through your art and photography. To take part in this contest, submit a photograph or piece of art showing different themes or elements of Maine life. We have purposely chosen an open-ended theme so you have the freedom to create unique and personal entries. What do you enjoy about Maine? What adventures could you have in Maine? Is there a dragon in the woods of Maine? Draw it! Or photograph it! Have fun and be creative. This contest is open to all ages and there will be four winners total, one per age group. The winners will have their submissions printed onto a beautiful set of note cards.

Submission Details Please submit entries digitally. Email Sara at sgove@berwickpubliclibrary.org your photo entry or a photo of your artwork. If you do not have email, please place your entry in the submissions folder located outside the library during designated hours (10am-6pm on Tuesdays and Wednesday and 10am to 1pm on Fridays and Saturdays). If your art doesn't fit in the folder, call us (207-698-5737) and we will come out to get your submission.
