Road Trip Week 4

We've made it to the halfway point in our virtual summer road trip! This week we're heading west and visiting New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado.

We're passing through the desert, so we thought it would be fun to make a clay cactus for this week's craft! You can pick up a take-and-make craft kit at the library (which includes all the supplies you'll need) or use your own supplies and follow the directions on our Craft blog post on the left.

Inspired by Albuquerque's famous balloon festival, this week's STEM challenge is all about balloons! You can try the STEM challenge hands-on at the library or try it at home. Check out the STEM Challenge blog post on the left for directions.

Time is running out to participate in our Maine bumper sticker contest! All entries must be submitted by July 31st. Remember - your design should be just outlines, like a coloring book page. Download a template and directions here.
