You arrive in 2025 outside the Berwick Public Library. The parking lot is packed and there are families everywhere visiting different activity stations. Trusting the knowledge of librarians, you approach the front desk and ask what is going on.
The librarian is excited to tell you about TimeCraft Academy, a special summer reading program event where visitors are invited to try different activities inspired by various moments in American history.
You look around and notice everything seems a little too familiar. You recognize that all the stations tie into your quest, except for one. Perhaps this station is how you'll find the final essence that you need to brew the Preservation Potion.​ You ask the librarian to tell you more about the station.
"We set up this station to remind visitors that everyone's story is important, including your own," the librarian explains. "This station has materials available for visitors to create a scrapbook, comic, zine, or anything else they can think of to tell the story of their summer adventures. Would you like to give it a try?"
Materials are available at the library to make a creation.
Using elements from your adventures through time, you finish your creation about your summer story and are quite pleased with the results. All around you at the table are library visitors of all ages, laughing and reminiscing over their own summer adventures as they create their projects. You enjoy looking at and hearing about the different memories everyone has picked, and you're grateful for this window into other people's lives and stories.
