Week 6

1983

You arrive in a busy and bustling arcade in the golden year of 1983. After walking around for a bit, you notice a particularly irritated kid playing Pac-Man. Looking over his shoulder, you notice that the game is totally glitching out!

"This is RIDICULOUS!" cries the kid. "How is anyone supposed to beat the game when it doesn't even work?" You ask him what the issue is, and how you can help. Something about this Pac-Man game seems like it might be related to your quest.

"How 'bout this. You help me fix this messed up game by finding all the missing characters and items, and I'll let you have a turn. Deal?"

"Hey, thanks!" the kid says, "It's finally working again!" After he finishes his game, he steps aside so you can have a turn. As he walks away, he tosses you a quarter and says, "As promised, it's your turn now. Here's an extra thank you for fixing the game. Don't waste my quarter, okay? It's the last of my allowance." 

​Congratulations - you have received the sixth essence for the Preservation Potion! Stop by the library to collect a sticker for your Potion Tracker. 

​

Remember, you will need to collect all seven essences in order to successfully brew the potion.
